Exporting Passwords From Your Default Browser

Total Password supports importing a password file in the .csv format which can be exported easily from Chrome and Firefox browser. To do this, follow the steps below:

  • Open Chrome
  • Click the Three Vertical Dots in the top right corner
  • Find Passwords & Autofill
  • Google Password Manager
  • Click Settings
  • Find Export Passwords & Click Download File
  • Enter Password & Save in a Secure Folder
  • Open Firefox
  • Go to the Application Menu in the top right corner
  • Click on Passwords
  • Click on the Three Horizontal Dots in the top right corner
  • Click Export Passwords
  • Click Continue to Export
  • Enter Password & Save in a Secure Folder
  • Open Opera
  • Copy and paste opera://password-manager/passwords into the search bar
  • Go to Settings
  • Find Export File & Click Download File
  • Enter Password & Save in a Secure Folder
  • Open Edge
  • Copy and paste edge://wallet/passwords into the search bar
  • Click the Three Horizontal Dots
  • Click Export Passwords
  • Click on Export Passwords again
  • Enter Password & Save in a Secure Folder
