Turn Off Push Ads On Chrome For Android

If your Android device is getting annoying ads and popups these are likely to be push notifications from Chrome Browser. Try the below steps to disable these push ads.

Open 'Chrome'

Tap the Chrome Browser application icon.

Tap the Three Dots

Located in the top right of the default browser page, you will see Three Vertical Dots, tap them to open a drop down menu.

Tap 'Settings'

Find and tap on Settings.

Tap 'Site Settings'

Scroll down in Settings until you find Site Settings and tap it.

Tap 'Notifications'

Scroll down in Site Settings until you find Notifications and tap it.

Turn off 'Notifications'

Tap on the toggle button to turn off Notifications.

Notifications Disabled

Congratulations, you should now stop receiving annoying spam messages and popups to your phone. You should see a similar image below on your device, if you do not, please refer to the previous steps.

Tap on the Website

Tap on the website you wish to disable Notifications for under the Allowed section.

Tap 'Allow Notifications'

Tap on Allow Notifications toggle button to disable the notifications.

Notifications Disabled

Notifications for the specific website are now disabled.

Tap the 'Back Arrow'

The back arrow is located in the top left of your screen, tap it to return to the notifications menu.

Notifications Blocked

With notifications blocked, sites won't be able to ask you to show notifications. Any websites in your exceptions will be able to send notifications.
