How to Download and Install Total Adblock

To install Total Adblock on your chrome browser, follow these instructions:

Visit Chrome Web Store

Go to the Total Adblock's Chrome Web Store Page

Add the Total Adblock Extension

  • Click Add To Chrome
  • Click Add Extension


    • You will receive a notification that Total Adblock has been added to chrome.

    Set Up

    Once Total Adblock has been added to chrome, a new tab will open. Here we will guide you on how to set up Total Adblock.

    To install Total Adblock on your Edge browser, follow these instructions:

    Visit Edge Store

    Go to the Edge Add-Ons Store

    Add the Total Adblock Extension

  • Click Get
  • Click Add Extension



    • The Total Adblock extension will now be added to the toolbar.

    Set Up

    Once Total Adblock has been added to Edge, a new tab will open. Here we will guide you on how to set up Total Adblock.

    Total Adblock is included when you download and install TotalAV!

    To enable Total Adblock, please follow the instructions below:

    Open TotalAV and go to the Adblock Section

    Open Safari Preferences

  • This will take you to Safari's Extensions tab

    • Tick all of Total Adblock Extensions

    Not ticking the Total Adblock Extensions will result in the feature failing to work on Safari.



  • Exit out of Safari Settings once the above is done.

    • Total Adblock is now fully enabled!

    Open Safari and Check the Extension shows this Window:

    To install TotalAV on iOS® follow these instructions:

    Download Total Adblock

  • Download Total Adblock from the App Store®



  • Tap Get


    • Enable Content Blockers

  • Open iOS® Settings
  • Locate and Tap Safari®
  • Tap Content Blockers
  • Switch on all Total Adblock Content blockers


    • When downloading Total Adblock on Android, you will most likely see warning messages.

    This happens because we provide Total Adblock on Android directly from our servers, as we are unable to offer it on the Google Play Store.

    By providing it directly, we can ensure the best level of Adblocking available for Android.

    If you own a Samsung Device, set your default browser to Chrome, should you wish to download Total Adblock Android Version.

    How To Download and Install Total Adblock

    Follow these steps to get your Android ad-free browsing experience!

  • On your Android device tap here
    • You may see a warning:

    'File might be harmful'

    The Android operating system shows this warning if applications are downloaded outside of the Google Play Store or you may see the Google Play & Protect Warning.


  • Tap OK or Download anyway to begin the download


  • Wait for Download to complete


  • Tap Open where it says 'File downloaded' at the top
    • You may see a warning:
    'For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source'

    As the file has been downloaded from your web browser you will need to allow your Android device to install files downloaded through the web browser.


  • Tap Settings on the pop up


  • Toggle on Enable From This Source for your chosen web browser, i.e Chrome, Edge, FireFox
    • Example is shown by using the Chrome Web Browser


  • Tap Install


  • Tap Open to open your new Total Adblock installation:
    • A shortcut will be created and added to your Home Screen by default. This can be changed after the installation is complete.


  • See below the Get Started / Login Total Adblock Page:
    • If you are not seeing what is imaged below, please review the steps above.

    Activating Total Adblock

  • If you already have an account with us, please Tap the I Already Have an Account button.
    • If you do not, please Tap on I'm New to Adblock


  • Tap OK on the Connection Request Prompt

    • By setting up a connection we change the way your connection works, a bit like a VPN does which allows us to filter the incoming adverts.

    If you choose to not select OK to trust the VPN Connection, Adblock will not work.


  • Allow Total Adblock to access media on your device
    • This is only so the app can install the downloaded certificate from your downloads folder. Total Adblock does not access anything else.


  • Certifcate Generate and Save in Downloads File Area
    • Total Adblock will ONLY be accessing the downloads folder of which the certificate will be saved into.


  • Once saved, the image below will pop up on the Total Adblock App and you will need to tap on Go To Settings


  • Go to Settings will bring up the window below, you will then need to navigate to Other Security Settings or Encryption & Credentials


  • From Other Security Settings, you will need to navigate to Install From Device Storage or Install a Certifcate


  • In Install From Device Storage or Install a Certificate, proceed to CA Certificate


  • Once you have Tapped on CA Certificate, the below window will appear called Your Privacy is at Risk. Tap on Install Anyway to proceed in installing the Certificate


  • Enter your device Security PIN or Fingerprint and tap Continue


  • Select Download > Select the Total Adblock Certificate > Tap on Done


  • The below window will show a confirmation message of CA Certificate Installed


  • Congratulations, you have now successfully activated your Total Adblock!
    • If you have any issues with the activation of this application, please review the steps above carefully.

    Visit Galaxy Store

    Tap Here to go to the Galaxy Store!


    Tap Install

    Login to Total Adblock

    Don't have a Total Adblock account? No worries, you can simply tap Get Started to jump straight into blocking those pesky ads! If wish to create an account with us, go to settings and Tap Create an Account to get started!
